Not sure how to classify your
guard for this upcoming season?
MAC has designed a system which combines the WGI national class system
with our own local classes for units who do not compete nationally. We will
have two evaluation shows early in the season in which we ask that guards
attending championships attend. Units will be classified using the following
system after those shows. Units are always able to promote themselves as
they see fit.

Classes of Competition
MAC believes in following the national standard set by WGI and will mirror
their classes of competition for those units who compete nationally. MAC is
also a local organization and we have made accommodations to those units not
wishing to compete in WGI.
If you are
performing in more than one WGI event during the season it is required that
your class in MAC be the same as WGI.
